The validity period of residence permits for Ukrainian citizens with asylum status was automatically extended until 04/03/2028. This means that there is no need to initiate an extension procedure with the competent Directorate for Aliens Policing to replace the card.
The provision applies to all affected documents, regardless of whether their expiry date is 4 March 2023, 2024, 2025, 2026 or 2027.
In view of the above, Ukrainian citizens with asylum status can continue to be employed under the same conditions.
