The Minister of Social and Family Affairs announced the minimum wage valid in 2027 for the EU Blue Card.
The salaries of employees holding an EU Blue Card must meet the applicable minimum salary threshold throughout their employment. Employers must therefore ensure that these employees’ salaries meet the new thresholds from 1 January 2027, increasing them where necessary.

* In certain specified healthcare professions, the minimum salary is lower — 872,995 HUF gross.
In addition, at the time of application, the salary must also meet the general minimum applicable to the job (as determined by the relevant FEOR code), which may be higher than the EU Blue Card minimum indicated above.
