According to information published by the National Directorate-General for Aliens Policing, third-country nationals holding a residence permit for guest self-employment can now fulfil their regular reporting obligation directly through the Enter Hungary electronic administration platform.
The obligation can be fulfilled by completing and electronically submitting the declaration provided for this purpose on the Enter Hungary platform.
What does the regular reporting obligation mean?
A third-country national holding a residence permit for guest self-employment must fulfil the regular reporting obligation by completing the prescribed declaration at the intervals determined by the immigration authority.
Proper fulfilment of this obligation is one of the conditions for extending the residence permit. It is therefore important to keep track of the reporting deadlines and retain both the declarations submitted through the Enter Hungary system and the confirmations proving their submission.
